Putin to appoint Siluanov as finance minister, deputy prime minister
BOCHAROV RUCHEI, Sochi, May 18 (PRIME) -- President Vladimir Putin said he will sign a decree on Friday to appoint new government members proposed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, including Anton Siluanov retaining the position of Finance Minister and getting the post of a deputy prime minister responsible for economy, according to the information obtained by PRIME.
Medvedev also suggested Tatyana Golikova as the deputy prime minister responsible for social policies and healthcare, Alexei Gordeyev for agriculture, Maxim Akimov for the digital economy, transport and connection, and Olga Golodets for culture and sports.
He has suggested that acting Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin, Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Labor Minister Maxim Topilin, Healthcare Minister Veronika Skvortsova, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Justice Minister Alexander Konovalov, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov should be reappointed.
The prime minister suggested that Deputy Prime Minister and presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev retain his position.
Dmitry Patrushev is to replace Alexander Tkachyov at the agriculture minister position.
Yevgeny Ditrikh, the former First Deputy Transport Minister, is to replace Maxim Sokolov in the position of the transport minister.
